A worthy successor to the Goliath that came later in the 80's and saw
Electrocoin's success continue well into the 90's. Included coin mechs
that were higher and easier to use and bigger monitors. Where the Goliaths
speakers were above the monitor, The Xenon's speakers were in the grey angled
panel below the monitor but above the control panel. The control panel remained
the same as that of the Goliath with only a revision to its artwork. Marquees
were still interchangeable but were now a lot easier to change with the
introduction of locking mechanisms and hinged brackets, no more screws to
remove! Rotating the monitor in a Xenon can be hard work as there is no
wooden wheel to make things easy. It involves removing bolts so that the monitor can then
be brought forward and turned carefully by hand. As these machines generally have heavier
25" monitors this can be awkward. These machines are also slightly larger than a Goliath
and will JUST fit through a standard doorway.
